Caring for your bed:
Most all of Rocky Mountain Log Furniture beds come with a coating of Howard Feed-N-Wax. This is available here at the store or many Home Depots. Your bed will need a reapplication every 5 to 6 months. This allows the wood to breath naturally and helps keep checking and cracks from occurring. Other than that, your bed will be maintenance free for its long life.
Care of Case Goods (Dressers, Nightstands, etc.):
The tops of our Case Goods are coated with a polyurethane finish that can be wiped clean with a damp paper towel. The sides and drawer fronts come with a coating of Johnson’s Feed & Wax. This is available here at the store or many Home Depots. This should be reapplied every 5 to 6 months. This allows the wood to breath naturally and helps keep checking and cracks from occurring.
